  I am a huge burger person and local business supporter so I really wanted to love this place. I first tried it and ordered a bison burger medium-rare. It came out well done, which ruins the quality and texture of the meat. About 4 months later, I decided to give it a second try. I ordered the blue cheese/bacon-stuffed burger, cooked medium. It came out perfectly and tasted absolutely amazing. I loved every bite. But, two hours later, I got so sick and vomited. Additionally, I ordered a 10 oz draft beer and it was $6. This is outrageous pricing!!! I will not be going back. GO TO World of Beer for beer and GO TO RED ROBIN for a burger. ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS BURGERS.

  The food has consistently been very good. I've had and enjoyed just about every burger meat offered with a wide variety of options, my boyfriend loves the black bean burger, and we both enjoy all the sides. The beer selection is nice, not overwhelming. So why did I only give this restaurant 3 stars? Size and parking. First off, the parking lot is a nightmare. I know BBB has no control over how their customers park, but the parking lot is part of their location and it's a nightmare. The size of this restaurant is also a nightmare. If there is more than one or two couples waiting to be seated, you are waiting in the actual door. If there are more than 3 couples, you're now waiting outside, standing around. When it's full, each table is practically on top of each other, making it difficult for the servers and customers to dare move. Honestly, unless I am sure it's a slow time, I won't be giving Basement Burger Bar my money, until they move to a location that can actually support their growing following. There's only so much annoyance I'm willing to endure for good, but not quite great, food.
